EXTERNAL ACCESS

External Access

External access comes in two kinds: calling solution capabilities, and receiving content your enterprise actively shares.

Capability access

Call solution capabilities

Standard solutions from Sogood all come with a dedicated MCP interface, and external agents can connect directly.

Content access

Receive actively shared content

The system has a share function: users inside the system share information externally and authorize it as needed, and external agents fetch it through the standard share interface.

Type 1 Capability access · dedicated MCP interface of the solution

Capability access: every overall solution comes with a dedicated MCP interface

External agents such as Claude, Codex and WorkBuddy fill in the endpoint and access credential following the standard MCP protocol and connect directly, calling the capabilities the solution provides. The interface is delivered with the solution, and the tool list, parameters and prompts are already tuned for the business scenario.

External AI entry points Dedicated MCP interface of the solution Capabilities the solution provides

① External AI entry points

Keep using the Claude, Codex, WorkBuddy and other enterprise agents you already bought or prefer, together with their existing models and compute. No need to change the entry point — plug in the solution capabilities and they are ready to use.

② Capabilities the solution provides

The capabilities of a solution run and keep upgrading on the platform, and external agents call them on demand through the dedicated MCP interface. Capabilities go live with the solution; the outside installs no internal components and keeps no copy on its side.

One standard interface, ready for every kind of agent. Any agent that speaks MCP can connect to the same set of solution capabilities.

Delivered together with the solution

The interface goes live with the solution as a standard part of it: external agents connect and use it directly, with no further configuration or tuning required.

Any kind of agent can connect

Claude, Codex, WorkBuddy and your own agents all connect as long as they support the standard MCP protocol. One interface serves multiple entry points, and you never rebuild the integration per platform.

Call and use, authorize on demand

Interfaces are opened by user, role and group, down to the person and the scenario. Calls are logged exactly like in-platform ones, fully traceable and revocable at any time.

1

Request and enable

A customer manager or platform admin enables the external interface that matches the solution, generating an endpoint and access credential.

2

Configure the client

Fill in the address and credential in the external agent following the MCP protocol; once connected you can see the tool list the interface provides.

3

Authorize the scope

Define which people and capabilities may be called by user, role or group. Anything not authorized is neither visible nor callable from outside.

4

Call and audit

External calls are logged exactly like in-platform calls. Admins can review caller, time, parameters and results at any time, and revoke authorization at any time.

How external agents can use it

Plug solution capabilities into the conversation flow your team already knows.

  • Copywriting, investment education, research reports, image generation — all completed inside your existing entry point
  • Connect once and reuse: the same interface can serve several agents and several departments
  • Scope and validity can be adjusted at any time — open when needed, revoke when not

What the enterprise gets

Solution capabilities on demand, with the interface always matching the platform.

  • Ready to use: the external entry point gains the full set of solution capabilities right away
  • Unified upgrades: when the solution iterates the interface follows, so the outside maintains no separate version
  • Complete logging: who, when and what was called, queryable and auditable at any time
Type 2 Content access · system standard share interface

Content access: the system has a share function, driven by users inside the system

Users inside the system can share information with external parties as needed and authorize it item by item; external agents connect to the standard share interface and fetch the content that was actively shared inside the system.

Share from inside Authorize item by item Fetch via the interface Revoke and audit

1

Share from inside

A user picks the content to expose externally (documents, knowledge entries, skill output, etc.) and creates a share record inside the platform.

2

Authorize item by item

Set the audience, visibility scope, validity period and read-only mode. Without any setting the default applies: nothing is shared, nothing is visible outside.

3

Fetch via the interface

External agents connect to the standard share interface and fetch shared content with their access token; the response contains only what was actively shared.

4

Revoke and audit

Users can revoke a share and invalidate its token at any time. Every fetch records the caller, the time and the scope, and admins can audit it.

How the two types divide the work

The dedicated MCP interface lets external agents call solution capabilities; the standard share interface lets them receive content your enterprise actively provides. They are two parallel channels; used together, you open up capabilities and you open up documents — with precision.

  • Capabilities: called through the solution's dedicated MCP interface, enabled centrally by an admin; the outside consumes solution capabilities
  • Content: fetched through the standard share interface, authorized entry by entry by its owner; the outside receives the specific content that was explicitly authorized
  • Both channels share the same permission model and audit log

Boundaries and security

Sharing is an active authorization by the enterprise, not an exposure: content that has not been shared cannot be obtained by an external agent through any interface.

  • Closed by default: unshared content is invisible and no interface can read it
  • Data never leaves the enterprise: what is shared is limited to the authorized scope, the original assets stay local
  • Tokens can be revoked and expire; a revoked share stops working immediately
WHY EXTERNAL ACCESS

No migration of entry points, capabilities on demand

Keep the entry point and the capabilities apart: use the front-end your team likes, let the dedicated MCP interface provide the capabilities, and let the standard share interface hand out content by authorization.

Connect once

An external agent only needs to connect to the solution's dedicated MCP interface to use solution capabilities under permission — no need to rebuild the integration for every platform.

Ready when connected

Solution capabilities are available as soon as you connect, and the interface upgrades together with the solution — no components to install, no version to maintain on the outside.

Permissions and audit

Exposed capabilities can be scoped by tenant, user, role and scenario, and external calls are logged end to end just like internal ones.

No need to change how your people work, and no need to rebuild capabilities. The entry point stays Claude, Codex and WorkBuddy; solution capabilities connect through the dedicated MCP interface at any time.
